FAV Guitars and Jayrus Labs have joined forces to create new parts and tools for guitar players and luthiers alike.

These ABS Humbucker Pickup Ring Screw Locators are designed to help you mark where to drill the holes for your new pickup rings. They work especially well for new builds because they are part of a system designed by FAV Guitars and brought to life through Jayrus Labs. They have both vertical and horizontal center lines so you can place them exactly where you want them. The center lines also transfer down the side of the jig to make it even easier to match up with the lines on your guitar body or body blank.

For best results, we recommend using a little bit of double-sided tape to hold the jig in place and use an 1/8” center punch or brad point drill bit to mark the locations. If you are new to building, we highly recommend testing on a piece of scrap wood first. The jig is only meant to mark the locations. To drill the holes, make sure you have the correct size drill bit for the screws you are using. These jigs are designed to have a tight fit for the most accuracy.
