The Luthier Series Screw Locator Jig is precision-scaled to account for material shrinkage, providing a dead-accurate template for your pickup rings. Designed to integrate exclusively with our Luthier Series Pickup Rings. 

Precision Alignment Features

• Dual-Axis Center Lines: Featuring both vertical and horizontal center lines, this jig allows for perfect placement on your guitar body or body blank. The center lines continue down the sides of the jig, making it easy to line them up perfectly with the marks on your guitar body.
• High-Accuracy Fit: Engineered with tight tolerances to ensure your mounting holes are perfectly centered every time, eliminating the guesswork of manual measuring.

The Precision Installation System

This jig is a core component of a specialized system designed to take the guesswork out of the workshop. To achieve a factory-perfect installation, we recommend the following workflow:

• Secure Placement: Use a small piece of double-sided tape to hold the jig firmly in place once aligned.
• Accurate Marking: Use an 1/8” center punch or brad point drill bit to mark the exact locations for your mounting screws.

Important Notes for Success:

• Marking vs. Drilling: This jig is designed to mark locations only. After marking, remove the jig and ensure you use the correct drill bit size for your specific mounting screws.
• Compatibility: These jigs are specifically engineered to work with our Luthier Series Pickup Rings and they are also compatible with Philadelphia Luthier Tools humbucker rings.
• Practice First: We highly recommend testing your alignment and drilling on a scrap piece of wood first.
