Toggle Cavity Cover

FAV Guitars and Jayrus Labs have joined forces to create new parts and tools for guitar players and luthiers alike.

These ABS Toggle Cavity Covers are available in different textures for a unique look and feel. They work especially well for new builds because they are part of a system designed by FAV Guitars and brought to life through Jayrus Labs.

Recommended: You can order the screw locator jig (sold separately) to quickly and easily mark where to drill the holes for your new covers. Simply use an 1/8” center punch or brad point drill bit to mark the spot.The dimensions of these covers are meant to work with a 2-1/8” (2.125”) recess. You can easily make a routing template (to be used with a flush trim router bit) with a 2-1/8” Forstner drill bit and a piece of MDF (see pics for example).

Pro tip: Make sure your MDF is thick enough for the router bit you are using to create a shallow recess for the toggle cavity cover.
